Stored XSS via unescaped title parameter
Published Jul 24, 2025 · Updated Apr 8, 2026
Stored XSS in e-joint.jp WP Applink 0.4.1 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to inject scripts through the title parameter. The plugin accepts attacker-controlled title input without sufficient sanitization and later renders it into page output without context-appropriate escaping. Contributor-level access is required, and the stored script executes when a user opens the injected page, enabling content manipulation and access to data available to that user's browser session.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
