Stored XSS via unescaped shortcode name attribute
Published Jul 24, 2025 · Updated Apr 8, 2026
Stored XSS in Taeggie Feed 0.1.10 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to inject arbitrary scripts through its shortcode. The render() method places the unescaped name attribute in a script element's id and a jQuery.getScript() call, permitting script-context breakout. Contributor-level access is required to store the payload, which executes in a visitor's browser whenever the affected page is opened.
