Script execution via unsanitized innerHTML assignment
Published Nov 7, 2025 · Updated Nov 7, 2025
DOM-based XSS in the Onlook 0.2.32 text editor allows remote attackers to execute scripts in a user's preview iframe. The editor assigns unsanitized user-controlled text to innerHTML when editing a text element, causing injected HTML and script to run in the preview document. Exploitation requires user interaction, and successful code runs in the user's session with access bounded by the iframe context.
