Authenticated code execution via unchecked curTime copy
Published Jun 21, 2025 · Updated Jun 23, 2025
Stack-based buffer overflow in D-Link DIR-619L 2.06B01 allows remote authenticated users to crash the router or execute code. The boa formSetACLFilter handler copies the curTime POST parameter into a fixed-size stack buffer without a length check, overwriting its return address. Access to the web administration interface is required; the public proof of concept demonstrates a persistent service crash, while the researcher reports return-address control.
