Browser script execution via unsanitized captive-portal name
Published Nov 25, 2025 · Updated Nov 26, 2025
Reflected XSS in RUCKUS Unleashed 200.13.6.1.319 allows remote attackers to execute JavaScript via a crafted captive-portal request. The selfguestpass/guestAccessSubmit.jsp endpoint inserts the user-controlled name parameter into its HTML response without sanitization or output encoding. Exploitation requires a victim to open the crafted URL; the resulting script runs in the appliance origin and can access session data or alter page content.
