Authenticated service interruption via oversized curTime
Published Jun 20, 2025 · Updated Jun 23, 2025
Stack-based buffer overflow in D-Link DIR-619L 2.06B01 allows remote authenticated users to interrupt service through a crafted curTime value. The formSetWizard1 handler processes the request-body value without a length restriction, allowing curTime data to overwrite its stack buffer. Authenticated access to the router management endpoint is required, and public evidence demonstrates service failure rather than controlled code execution.
