Unauthorized message posting via missing CSRF validation

Cross-site request forgery in SourceCodester Simple Public Chat Room 1.0 allows attackers to send chat messages through a victim's session. The send_message.php endpoint accepts state-changing POST requests without validating a CSRF token, nonce, or trusted request origin. An authenticated user must visit an attacker-controlled page, which lets the forged request post arbitrary messages with that user's privileges.
