Browser script execution via unescaped comment editing
Published Nov 18, 2025 · Updated Nov 19, 2025
Stored cross-site scripting in DzzOffice 2.3.7 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to execute JavaScript in a victim's browser. The dzz/comment/template/edit_form.htm template inserts user-controlled comments and request parameters into HTML and JavaScript contexts without appropriate escaping. An existing account must plant the payload, and a victim must open the comment editing pop-up; the script then runs with the victim's browser-session privileges.
