Unauthenticated service interruption via use-after-free
Published Jan 29, 2026 · Updated Jan 29, 2026
Use-after-free in Monkey HTTP Server through commit f37e984 allows remote attackers to interrupt the service with a crafted HTTP request. The mk_http_request_end function in mk_server/mk_http.c accesses request-related memory after its lifetime has ended. No authentication or user interaction is required; published material does not specify whether the failure is a hang or crash.
