CVE-2025-6365

Kernel halt via unimplemented ARM64 page-table setter

Published Jun 20, 2025 · Updated Jun 23, 2025

Denial of service in HobbesOSR Kitten c4f8b7c3158983d1020af432be1b417b28686736 allows attackers to halt the kernel through memory operations. The ARM64 set_pte_at function calls panic and then loops forever instead of installing the requested page-table entry. Any normal system call or kernel-module path that reaches this memory-management hook leaves the system halted in an unrecoverable state.
