Script execution via stored profile description
Published Jan 14, 2026 · Updated Jan 14, 2026
Stored XSS in the profile Description field in pH7Software pH7-Social-Dating-CMS 17.9.1 allows remote authenticated users to execute script. The profile update path stores attacker-controlled Description content and later renders it to profile viewers without effective output neutralization. A low-privileged account can plant the content, but exploitation requires another user to open the affected profile; published evidence does not identify the responsible function or template.
