SQL injection via unescaped category parameter
Published Oct 29, 2025 · Updated Oct 29, 2025
SQL injection in code-projects Online Complaint Site 1.0 allows remote attackers to read or alter database data through a crafted request. The /cms/admin/subcategory.php handler places the POST category value directly into an SQL query without validation, neutralization, or parameter binding. The proof of concept sends a POST request with a session cookie, while NVD assesses exploitation as requiring no privileges.
