Database disclosure and modification via timestamp injection
Published Nov 5, 2025 · Updated Nov 5, 2025
SQL injection in Open Source Social Network 8.6 allows remote authenticated users to read or modify database data via a crafted timestamp. The /action/rtcomments/status endpoint fails to neutralize the attacker-controlled timestamp before a database query, enabling blind time-based SQL execution. An authenticated session is required according to the upstream report, and database permissions bound the readable or modifiable data.
