Cross-tenant data manipulation via unchecked resource identifiers
Published Oct 31, 2025 · Updated Oct 31, 2025
Broken access control in Vacation Rental Management Platform before 1.0.2 allows remote authenticated users to alter other users' data. The update and delete endpoints trust owner or resource identifiers supplied in requests instead of verifying that the authenticated account owns the targeted listing, partner, guest, or booking. Any authenticated account can create, modify, or delete arbitrary users' rental records, causing unauthorized disclosure, integrity loss, or data loss.
