Stored script execution via unencoded profile fields
Published Dec 1, 2025 · Updated Dec 1, 2025
Stored cross-site scripting in Blood Bank Management System 1.0 allows remote authenticated users to run JavaScript in a victim's browser. The updateprofile.php and rprofile.php handlers store the rname, remail, rpassword, rphone, and rcity values without sanitizing or encoding them before rendering. A valid application account is required to update a profile; viewing the affected page then executes the stored payload in the victim's application session.
