Reflected XSS via unsanitized theme parameter
Published Dec 4, 2025 · Updated Dec 5, 2025
Reflected XSS in Alinto SOGo 5.12.4 and earlier allows remote attackers to execute scripts in a user’s browser via a crafted theme parameter. The relativePathToUserFolderSubPath method reads theme from the request and appends it to a generated Mail view URL without rejecting HTML injection. Exploitation requires the victim’s email address, a valid SOGo session, and interaction with the crafted URL, enabling script access to or modification of browser-session data.
