Unauthenticated router crash via unbounded URL decoding
Published Oct 31, 2025 · Updated Oct 31, 2025
Stack-based buffer overflow in Totolink LR350 9.3.5u.6369_B20220309 allows remote attackers to crash the router via a crafted ssid parameter. The sub_421BAC function passes the decoded ssid to a 128-byte stack buffer without limiting the input length, allowing adjacent stack data or the return address to be overwritten. The unauthenticated request requires wifiOff set to 0; exploitation interrupts routing service without reported data disclosure or modification.
