Browser script execution via unescaped product name
Published Nov 3, 2025 · Updated Nov 3, 2025
Stored cross-site scripting in Water Management System 1.0 allows remote attackers to execute browser script through a product name. The referenced proof of concept submits a crafted Product Name to /edit_product.php, which renders it without HTML encoding and executes the injected script. The CVE record instead names /orders.php; the demonstrated path requires self-registration and sign-in, and exposes browser-session data and rendered content when tainted content is loaded.
