Authenticated browser script execution via unescaped customer name
Published Nov 3, 2025 · Updated Nov 3, 2025
Cross-site scripting in /add_customer.php in Water Management System 1.0 allows remote authenticated users to execute scripts via customer names. The customer workflow accepts a crafted Customer Name value and renders it without neutralizing embedded script markup. A registered account and browser interaction with the crafted value are required; successful exploitation exposes cookies readable by script and allows page-content modification.
