File disclosure and command execution via path traversal
Published Nov 18, 2025 · Updated Nov 18, 2025
Path traversal in iSpyConnect Agent DVR 6.6.1.0 and earlier allows local users to read arbitrary files through its local API. The unauthenticated addrecording endpoint accepts traversal segments in a recording name, and streamFile.cgi then returns the referenced file. On Linux, authenticated camera and action configuration can instead chain a loopback Live URL request with unsanitized bash-script parameters to execute OS commands as the service account.
