Disputed configuration disclosure via public bootstrap endpoint
Published Dec 18, 2025 · Updated Dec 18, 2025
Improper access control in Dify 1.9.1 allows remote attackers to read system-feature data through an unauthenticated console API. The SystemFeatureApi GET handler has no login gate and returns bootstrap settings, including verbose license metadata in the reported build. The maintainer disputes any security impact because dashboard startup requires public access and states that no PII, credentials, or secrets are exposed.
