Stored script execution via unsanitized filter input
Published Feb 9, 2026 · Updated Feb 9, 2026
Stored XSS in Hitron HI3120 firmware 7.2.4.5.2b1 allows remote authenticated users to execute JavaScript via a new parental filter. The Parental Control new-filter workflow stores attacker-supplied filter input without neutralizing it before the page later renders the value. High-privileged device access is required to save the payload, and another user's interaction triggers script execution that can read or alter data available to the affected page.
