CVE-2025-63353Public exploit

Wi-Fi access via predictable default passphrase

Published Nov 12, 2025 · Updated Nov 13, 2025

Predictable credentials in FiberHome HG6145F1 firmware RP4423 allow physically proximate attackers to derive the default Wi-Fi passphrase. The firmware forms the factory key as “wlan” plus the hexadecimal result of subtracting the broadcast fh_ SSID suffix from 0xFFFFFF. Exploitation requires Wi-Fi radio proximity and unchanged factory credentials, after which the derived key grants access to the protected wireless network.
