Stored XSS via unsanitized inline file serving
Published Nov 6, 2025 · Updated Nov 6, 2025
Stored XSS in alexusmai laravel-file-manager 3.3.1 allows remote authenticated users to execute script in another user's browser. The file manager accepts script-bearing HTML or SVG through upload, create, or rename operations, stores it unchanged, and serves the file inline under the application's origin. The attacker needs file-management permission and user interaction; opening or previewing the crafted file runs persistent script with the victim's application access.
