Administrative file deletion via traversed image path
Published Oct 30, 2025 · Updated Oct 30, 2025
Path traversal in SourceCodester Pet Grooming Management System 1.0 allows remote authenticated users to delete arbitrary server files. The handler uses the old_login_image POST value as a deletion path without confining it to the intended image directory. Administrative access is required; deleting index.php interrupts the application, while other chosen paths can remove server or operating-system files.
