CVE-2025-63296Public exploit

Root code execution via unvalidated SD update script

Published Nov 10, 2025 · Updated Nov 12, 2025

Code execution in KERUI K259 camera firmware 33.53.87 allows physically proximate attackers to run commands as root from an SD card. At startup, /usr/bin/update_entry accepts an unvalidated update.nor.sh file from the mounted card, copies it to /tmp/net.sh, marks it executable, and /usr/sbin/anyka_service.sh runs it. Exploitation requires inserting a prepared TF/SD card and rebooting the camera, after which the script grants root-level control of the device.
