Cross-user HR record creation via tampered employee ID
Published Nov 4, 2025 · Updated Nov 4, 2025
Missing authorization in WorkDo HRM SaaS 8.1 allows remote authenticated users to create leave or resignation records for others. The /hrm-saas/hr/leave-applications POST handler accepts a client-controlled employee_id without verifying that it belongs to the requesting account. Standard-user access is sufficient to submit fraudulent leave requests under another employee's identity, altering HR records and approval workflows.
