Unauthorized ticket modification via unchecked ticket ID
Published Nov 3, 2025 · Updated Nov 3, 2025
Missing authorization in FairSketch Rise Ultimate Project Manager & CRM 3.9.4 allows remote authenticated users to modify other users' tickets. The /index.php/tickets/save_comment endpoint accepts a caller-controlled, sequential ticket_id and creates a comment without verifying that the caller may access that ticket. A standard authenticated account is sufficient to append misleading comments or attachments to another user's open ticket, altering ticket content and notifications.
