API key disclosure via unchecked object identifiers
Published Nov 14, 2025 · Updated Nov 16, 2025
Authorization bypass in Alteryx Server 2022.1.1.42654 and 2024.1 allows remote authenticated users to read other users' API keys. The /api/v1/profile endpoint accepts userID and subscriptionID MongoDB object identifiers without verifying that the caller owns or may access the referenced records. An authenticated account and identifiers obtainable from a shared workflow expose private studio and administrative API keys, enabling access within the privileges granted to those keys.
