Privileged account creation via active victim sessions
Published Nov 18, 2025 · Updated Nov 19, 2025
Session hijacking in Sencore SMP100 firmware 4.2.160, 60.1.4, and 60.1.29 allows remote attackers to create privileged users. The /UserManagement.html interface processes user-creation requests without independently validating the requester when a victim session is active. Exploitation requires adjacent-network access and an already logged-in target; the resulting account enables administrative access and configuration changes.
