Administrative access via cross-device JWT reuse
Published Nov 18, 2025 · Updated Nov 19, 2025
Authentication bypass in Itel DAB Gateway build c041640a allows remote attackers to gain administrative access with another device's JWT. The HTTP session handler accepts bearer tokens issued by other gateways because JWT audience and scope are not bound to the target device. A valid token from one affected gateway is required, but target credentials are not; successful reuse grants full administrative control.
