Unauthenticated device takeover via password reset endpoint
Published Nov 19, 2025 · Updated Nov 20, 2025
Improper authentication in R.V.R Elettronica TEX TEXL-000400 and TLAN-000400 allows remote attackers to reset all account passwords. The /_Passwd.html handler accepts an unauthenticated POST body containing replacement Admin, Operator, and User passwords and commits those values. Network access to the web interface is sufficient; changed Administrator credentials enable full device control and can lock out legitimate operators.
