Database read and write via unsanitized firstname
Published Jun 20, 2025 · Updated Jun 20, 2025
SQL injection in Code Projects Online Shoe Store 1.0 allows remote attackers to read or alter database data through a crafted request. The edit_customer.php handler places the POST firstname value directly into an SQL query without cleaning, validation, or parameter binding. No login or authorization is required; boolean- and time-based blind payloads can manipulate the backing MySQL database, while broader system control is not established.
