Unauthenticated administrator email disclosure via public REST endpoint
Published Jan 22, 2026 · Updated Jan 22, 2026
Sensitive information exposure in Cookies and Content Security Policy 2.34 and earlier allows remote attackers to read the administrator email. The public /wp-json/cacsp/v1/texts REST route calls cacsp_texts(), which returns cacsp_option_settings_admin_email in frontend error-message data. No authentication or user interaction is required, but disclosure is limited to the configured WordPress administrator email when the display setting is enabled.
