CVE-2025-62986Network attack vector

Unauthenticated stored XSS via missing nonce validation

Published Oct 27, 2025 · Updated Oct 27, 2025

Cross-site request forgery in FanBridge signup 0.6 and earlier allows remote attackers to store malicious scripts via forged administrator requests. An unspecified plugin function omits or incorrectly performs WordPress nonce validation before accepting state-changing input, so a forged request can persist an XSS payload. Exploitation requires an authenticated site administrator to follow an attacker-supplied link; the saved script then runs for users who view affected content.
