Stored script execution via unsafe frontend rendering
Published Oct 27, 2025 · Updated Oct 27, 2025
Stored cross-site scripting in Debuggers Studio Marquee Addons for Elementor 3.8.2 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to inject scripts. Frontend input handling insufficiently sanitizes contributor-supplied page content and renders it without adequate output escaping, storing script markup for later visitors. Contributor-level access is required, and the payload executes in a visitor's browser when the injected page is opened.
