Privilege escalation in SUSE openSUSE lightdm-kde-greeter before 6.0.4 allows local users controlling the lightdm account to gain root access. The root KAuth D-Bus helper passes caller-selected paths to QFile::copy and follows symlinks in lightdm-controlled directories. Exploitation requires control of the lightdm service account and an interactive trigger by a privileged user; a successful file overwrite yields root access.
