Stored XSS via unsanitized remark submission

Published Jun 19, 2025 · Updated Jun 23, 2025

Stored XSS in PHPGurukul COVID19 Testing Management System 1.0 allows remote authenticated users to inject script via the remark field. The Take Action handler in /test-details.php processes the remark value without sufficient output neutralization, causing stored script to execute when test details are viewed. A low-privileged account and victim interaction are required; exploitation alters content within the victim's browser context.
