CVE-2025-62851Network attack vector

Administrator file disclosure via CGI path traversal

Published Jun 10, 2026 · Updated Jun 10, 2026

Path traversal in QNAP License Center 1.9.0 through 1.9.55 allows remote authenticated users to read files via a crafted request. The qlicenseRequest.cgi handler fails to confine an administrator-supplied path to its intended directory and returns file contents outside that directory. An administrator account and network access to the NAS management interface are required, and the reported consequence is file disclosure only.
