Authentication bypass via arbitrary QCloud account
Published Mar 20, 2026 · Updated Mar 20, 2026
Authentication bypass in QNAP QuRouter before 2.6.2.007 allows remote attackers on the local network to access sensitive information. The login.newAuthMiddleware.Authenticator endpoint accepts the qurouter_token parameter for an arbitrary QCloud account as authenticated. The attack requires local-network reachability but no prior authentication or user interaction; successful requests gain authenticated router access.
