Rejected because documented API misuse is not exposure
Published Oct 23, 2025 · Updated Oct 23, 2025
LZ4 is not affected by CVE-2025-62813; the CNA withdrew the record after finding that the reported behavior is not a security issue. The cited patch adds NULL checks to LZ4F_createCDict_advanced and LZ4F_getFrameInfo for caller-supplied API parameters, not untrusted frame data. A crash requires an application to violate documented non-null pointer contracts, so processing attacker-controlled LZ4 frames does not reach the disputed condition.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
