CVE-2025-6279Public exploit

Authenticated code execution via unsafe pickle deserialization

Published Jun 19, 2025 · Updated Jun 23, 2025

Unsafe deserialization in Upsonic before 0.56.0 allows remote authenticated users to execute code via the add_tool endpoint. The endpoint base64-decodes the request's function field and passes the bytes directly to cloudpickle.loads, which reconstructs attacker-controlled objects. Access to the adjacent-network tools server with low privileges is required, and commands run with the Upsonic process's permissions.
