Manager service crash via unchecked SCA value type
Published Oct 29, 2025 · Updated Oct 29, 2025
NULL pointer dereference in Wazuh before 4.10.2 allows remote attackers controlling an enrolled agent to crash analysisd with an SCA message. The SCA decoder accepts a numeric description field, passes its NULL valuestring to fillData(), and os_strdup() dereferences it. Exploitation requires open agent enrollment or control of an existing agent and interrupts analysisd without reported confidentiality or integrity impact.
