Account persistence via unregenerated password-change session token
Published Oct 27, 2025 · Updated Oct 27, 2025
Insufficient session expiration in THM-Health PILOS before 4.8.0 allows remote authenticated users to retain account access after a password change. The local-account password-change flow terminates other active sessions but neither invalidates nor regenerates the token for the session making the change. Exploitation requires a valid session token obtained through a separate weakness, and that token continues to authorize actions as the affected user.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
