CVE-2025-62777

Adjacent-network command execution via hard-coded Telnet credentials

Published Oct 28, 2025 · Updated Oct 28, 2025

Hard-coded credentials in PLANEX MZK-DP300N 1.07 and earlier allow remote attackers on the local network to execute arbitrary commands through Telnet. The Telnet service validates logins against credentials embedded in the firmware and grants command execution after successful authentication. Access requires local-network reachability; successful login exposes device data, configuration, and operation to attacker control.
