Root shell access via reused admin password

Privilege escalation in Mercku M6a 2.1.0 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to gain a root shell through TELNET. The TELNET authentication path accepts the web administration password for the root account instead of separating administrative and operating-system credentials. An attacker must reach the router over an adjacent network and know the web admin password; successful login grants unrestricted command execution and complete device control.
