Contributor-level stored XSS via unescaped feed ID
Published Dec 31, 2025 · Updated Dec 31, 2025
Stored XSS in Curator.io 1.9.5 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to inject scripts through a crafted feed ID. The CuratorFeed setFeed() method accepts the feed_id shortcode attribute without validation, and render() inserts it unescaped into an HTML data attribute and a JavaScript URL. Contributor-level access is required, and the script runs in the browser of anyone who views the affected post.
