Authenticated stored XSS via status content
Published Nov 20, 2025 · Updated Nov 20, 2025
Stored XSS in the /status endpoint in SOPlanning before 1.55 allows remote authenticated users to execute scripts in visitors' browsers. The endpoint stores arbitrary HTML and JavaScript from an account holder and renders the content without neutralization across multiple pages. An account is required to plant the payload, and a victim must open an affected page for browser-side execution.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
