Remote code execution in the Git Node in n8n before 1.113.0 allows remote authenticated users to run arbitrary code via a malicious repository. The Commit operation invokes Git against a cloned untrusted repository without suppressing hooks, so its pre-commit hook runs inside the n8n environment. A workflow user must clone the attacker-controlled repository with the Git Node and then use Commit; the hook can access service data, credentials, and workflows.
