Stored XSS via unescaped sharing-link href
Published Nov 4, 2025 · Updated Nov 4, 2025
Stored XSS in LinkAce before 2.4.0 allows remote authenticated users to execute JavaScript in viewers' browsers via crafted link titles. The sharing helper inserts an unencoded title into sharing URLs, and the Blade view renders the resulting href without HTML escaping. A low-privilege account can store the payload, and execution occurs when another user opens a link view with sharing enabled, exposing that browser session to data theft and unauthorized actions.
